What is Voice AI?

The Voice AI Studio lets you and your tenants build AI-powered phone agents that handle inbound calls, conduct outbound campaigns, answer FAQs, and capture leads — 24/7, without a human agent. It combines:

  • ElevenLabs — Neural text-to-speech and voice cloning engine
  • Twilio — Telephony backbone for inbound/outbound phone calls
  • BrandedClaws AI — Conversation orchestration, prompt routing, and lead capture

💡 Recommendation: The Creator plan ($22/mo) is the minimum required for Voice Cloning.

Step 1 — Get Your ElevenLabs API Key

  1. Go to elevenlabs.io → Settings → API Keys
  2. Click Generate API Key and copy it
  3. In BrandedClaws: Admin Center → Voice AI Settings
  4. Paste the API key and click Save

Step 2 — Find Voice IDs from the Voice Library

Voice IDs are unique identifiers for each synthesized voice. As Superadmin, you assign one Voice ID per subscription tier. Tenants use whichever voice is assigned to their plan.

  1. Go to elevenlabs.io → Voice Library
  2. Filter by language, gender, accent, or use case
  3. Click any voice — the Voice ID appears in the URL or voice details
  4. Copy Voice IDs and assign them in Admin Center → Voice AI Settings → Tier Voice IDs

Multi-Tenant Voice Tier System

The Superadmin sets up the ElevenLabs API key and assigns one Voice ID per subscription tier. Tenants then create and clone their own Voice AI personas within their assigned tier.

Twilio AI Phone Agent Setup

  1. Sign up at twilio.com and purchase a phone number
  2. Copy your Account SID (starts with AC...) and Auth Token from the Twilio Console
  3. In BrandedClaws: go to Dashboard → Voice AI → Phone Agent
  4. Enter your SID, Auth Token, and purchased phone number
  5. Write your Agent Persona and Call Script
  6. Click Deploy Voice Agent

Troubleshooting

Clone Studio is greyed out
Your platform ElevenLabs plan does not support voice cloning. Ask your Superadmin to upgrade to Creator plan ($22/mo) or higher.
Voice agent not answering calls
Verify your Twilio phone number webhook is pointed to your BrandedClaws agent URL via the Twilio Console.
Poor audio quality on clone
Use a WAV file, 44.1kHz, minimum 1 minute of clean audio with low background noise.
API key invalid
Verify the key in Admin Center → Voice AI Settings. The key must be from an ElevenLabs account with Creator plan or higher.
Voice ID not found
Voice IDs are case-sensitive. Copy the exact ID from the ElevenLabs Voice Library URL.
