Social Syndicator (Postiz)

Omnichannel Social Suite Guide

Connect your social media accounts, schedule AI-generated posts to 9 platforms, manage a visual content calendar, and analyse performance — all powered by the Postiz Social Syndicator.

What is the Social Syndicator?

The BrandedClaws Social Syndicator is powered by Postiz — an enterprise social media scheduling platform — fully hosted and embedded in your dashboard. It enables you to schedule, publish, and analyse content across 9 social media platforms from a single unified interface.

The Social Syndicator is accessible from your dashboard sidebar at Social Syndicator or directly at social.brandedclaws.com.

Connecting Your Social Accounts

Social platform connections require OAuth authorization. Your Superadmin must first configure the platform OAuth app credentials in Admin Center → Social Media OAuth, then you can connect your personal accounts.

Step 1 — Superadmin Configures OAuth (One-time setup)

  1. Go to Admin Center → Social Media OAuth Studio
  2. For each platform, create a developer app on the platform's developer portal
  3. Enter the App ID (Client ID) and App Secret (Client Secret) for each platform
  4. Use the Redirect URIs shown on the page when configuring each developer app
  5. Save — then click Restart Postiz at the bottom of the page to apply the new credentials

Step 2 — Tenants Connect Their Accounts

  1. Go to Dashboard → Social Syndicator → Channels
  2. Click Add Channel and select the platform
  3. Authorise with your social media login — you will be redirected to the platform's login page
  4. Approve the permissions request and you will be redirected back to BrandedClaws
  5. Your channel will appear in the Channels list as Connected

Note: Each tenant connects their own social accounts. The platform Superadmin does NOT have access to tenants' social account credentials — only the OAuth app credentials needed to enable the connection.

Scheduling Posts

Creating a New Post

  1. Go to Social Syndicator → Create Post
  2. Select the target platforms (you can post to multiple simultaneously)
  3. Write or paste your post content in the editor
  4. Add media (images or videos from your Media Library or uploaded directly)
  5. Use the AI Caption Writer to automatically generate platform-optimised captions
  6. Set the schedule date and time (or click Post Now)
  7. Click Schedule — the post is added to your content calendar

Using the Content Calendar

  1. Go to Social Syndicator → Calendar for a visual overview of all scheduled posts
  2. Click any post in the calendar to edit or reschedule it
  3. Drag and drop posts to different time slots to reschedule them
  4. Use the Week and Month views to plan your content cadence

Social Analytics

  • Go to Social Syndicator → Analytics
  • View impressions, reach, engagement rate, and follower growth per platform
  • Filter by date range (7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or custom)
  • Identify your top-performing posts and replicate their format
  • Export analytics as CSV for client reporting

Restarting Postiz (Admin)

If Postiz becomes unresponsive, or after updating OAuth credentials, Superadmins can restart the Postiz container directly from the Admin Center.

  1. Go to Admin Center → Social Media OAuth Studio
  2. Scroll to the bottom — the Postiz System Control panel shows the current container status
  3. Click ⚡ Restart Postiz Now
  4. The Social Syndicator will be briefly unavailable for ~20 seconds, then automatically come back online
  5. Click Refresh Status to verify it is back to Running

Troubleshooting

Platform connection button is greyed out or not appearing
The Superadmin has not yet configured that platform's OAuth credentials. Contact your platform administrator to set up the App ID and Secret in Admin Center → Social Media OAuth.
Post scheduled but not published
Check your channel connection status in Social Syndicator → Channels. A disconnected or expired OAuth token will prevent publishing. Reconnect the channel by re-authorising.
Social Syndicator shows 'Service Unavailable'
The Postiz container may need a restart. Superadmins can restart it in Admin Center → Social Media OAuth → Postiz System Control.
Instagram posts not appearing on my profile
Instagram via API requires a Business or Creator account. Personal Instagram accounts cannot be published to via third-party apps. Convert your account in Instagram Settings → Account Type.
TikTok posts failing
TikTok API requires your account to be a Business or Creator account with at least 1,000 followers for API access. Check your TikTok developer app permissions scope.
